Apollo B is a new dad who works in the banking industry. His team of UFCU representatives has helped him improve his credit and get his first auto loan, credit card, and home loan. He’s on his way to financial success.
“The first time I came to UFCU, I was shopping for auto loans. I'd gone to different banks, and they required you to have a credit card for loans. I was really young, only 18 years old, so I didn't have much credit. UFCU was able to get me approved for an auto loan. And for not having any credit, I thought that was pretty amazing.

Then I went on to buy my first house when I was only 20 years old. I give a lot of credit to UFCU for enabling that. I wouldn't have had any credit if it weren’t for UFCU offering me that lending hand. Because of them, I was able to get my first auto loan, my first credit card, my first home loan, and they even got me my newest car recently.
Now, I’m a father. Fatherhood is amazing. I never thought I could love a tiny creature so much! I spend my time working or with my newborn daughter. I like UFCU because I feel they care about the community. They are here to help us succeed financially.
Helping the community is important to me. It has been since I was a little kid. My mom worked in our community and in schools and was also a teacher. So pretty much my whole life, we were involved in fundraisers and marches. Today, when I see the opportunity to donate to something important, I do. It means a lot to me.
My favorite community service is Blue Santa. When I was young, we'd pack all the toys together for them. My mom told me they were all about helping children in poverty. Being able to make them happy on Christmas morning meant a lot to me."
