I don't have very complicated finances, but I believe in the philosophy of credit unions like UFCU, especially in light of the irregularities, fraudulent practices, and scandals you hear about with traditional banks.

I finally got fed up with the changes, charges, indifference, and lack of personal service I got from banks in the past. I used to watch the employees on the “front lines” of my old bank who clearly disliked their jobs.

At UFCU, the people—especially the tellers—are friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. It’s a genuine community of people who live in Austin and believe in cooperative solutions.
