Austin Again Votes University Federal Credit Union Best of the Best

Austin, TEXAS, September 12 2019  —  For the second consecutive year, University Federal Credit Union (UFCU) topped the banking-related categories in the Austin American-Statesman’s “Best of the Best Awards.” On the heels of a clean sweep in the inaugural 2018 awards, UFCU was named the “best of” in two of three banking-related categories: Best Mortgage Lender and Best Bank. The winners were announced at an awards gala September 11.

These awards follow other previous accolades for UFCU’s banking services. Last year, Forbes named UFCU one of the top five credit unions in Texas and the Austin Business Journal named UFCU Austin’s top mortgage company and top credit union for the third consecutive year. The journal will announce 2019 leaders later this year.

UFCU, Austin’s largest locally owned financial institution, also leads all Austin credit unions and locally owned banks in Member-customer base and deposits, with more than $3.1 billion in assets under management and more than 309,000 Members.
