UFCU Names Cheryl Dozier to Lead New Kyle Branch
Austin, TEXAS, November 2, 2020 — University Federal Credit Union (UFCU), Austin’s largest locally owned financial institution, has named Cheryl Dozier to manage its newest branch located in Kyle. The branch, at 4410 South FM 1626, opened November 2.
In her new position, Dozier will help UFCU further establish and deepen business and Member relationships and provide exceptional service to the Kyle community.
Dozier first joined UFCU in 2011 as Member Services supervisor. Over the subsequent nine years, she has made a positive contribution to UFCU Members in numerous UFCU locations. In 2013, she was named assistant manager of the Steck location, and in 2014 became the Downtown Branch manager. There, she was an integral part of closing the old location when it was moved to temporary quarters while the current branch was being built.
In 2016, she became manager of the University Branch, where she led the opening of the Gregory Gym location and has helped evolve and grow the freshman orientations program at the University of Texas at Austin™. Prior to joining UFCU, she gained 17 years’ experience in the insurance industry as a senior call center manager.
