UFCU Names Esther Edevold Vice President of Finance
Austin, TEXAS, January 15, 2021 — UFCU, Austin’s largest locally owned financial institution, has named Esther Edevold vice president of finance to oversee UFCU’s critical financial functions. She reports to Mike Clifford, UFCU executive vice president of operations and strategy.
Edevold, most recently director of financial planning and analytics, joined UFCU in 2006 as an accountant. She has since held positions of increasing responsibility and led teams responsible for secondary markets, budgeting, profitability, investment portfolio, interest rate risk, mortgage pipeline hedging, liquidity, process improvement, data analytics, and data strategy.
“I’ve seen Esther develop not only her expertise in analytics, financial planning, and enterprise analytics solutions over the course of her UFCU career, but also hone her leadership style,” said UFCU President and CEO Tony Budet. “We always feel a special pride when a UFCU colleague rises from within our organization to the executive level.”
Prior to joining UFCU, Edevold was assistant vice president of accounting with Government Employees Federal Credit Union. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Texas State University – San Marcos. Edevold also is a Vistage International Emerging Leader graduate. She and her family reside in Buda, Texas.
