Grand Opening of New Cedar Park Branch
Austin, TEXAS — April 9, 2010 — Responding to its growing customer base, University Federal Credit Union (UFCU) announces the opening of its first Cedar Park location at the intersection of E Whitestone and Parmer Lane. The new branch opens on Monday, April 12th.
“Providing exceptional service is at the heart of everything we do and opening this new branch is just one more way we can deliver convenience and accessibility for our members,” said Tony Budet, President and CEO of UFCU.
This new location, UFCU’s third in Williamson County, totals 4,000 square feet and is built in a retail configuration. The branch offers both walk-up and drive-thru ATMs, four drive-thru teller lanes, video teller stations, a self-serve coin counting machine, financial planning, and investment and trust services.
“The video teller stations provide a state-of-the-art, robbery-resistant environment for safety of both tellers and members while offering considerably more privacy than a traditional teller line,” states Budet.
UFCU’s 12 proprietary branches are complemented by 3 Austin shared branch facilities and over 4,028 shared credit union branches across the U.S. where UFCU members have access to services.
At over $1.1 billion in assets, UFCU is Austin’s largest locally owned financial institution and serves over 143,000 members in the Austin and Galveston areas. For more information on UFCU’s products and services, visit www.ufcu.org.
