Thank you for your UFCU membership and business! Your active use of University Federal Credit Union’s products and services in 2010 further strengthened our cooperative’s ability to aggressively price and expand its services in what is an extremely competitive environment. Our board of directors, my team, and I are grateful. As a financial services provider, we often “talk numbers” around here, but we consider ourselves, first and foremost, in the business of life. We get excited helping you attain your life goals, many of which depend on sound financial management.

The safety and soundness of UFCU has never been stronger. We have not and will not do at UFCU the things that have caused banks to fail and others to seek governmental assistance. In 2010, while the economy faltered, we made attractively priced loans to tens of thousands of members while maintaining sound underwriting standards. Many of you, seeking a safe place to keep your savings, transferred substantial deposits to UFCU, pushing assets over $1.3 billion and membership over 135,000 at year-end.
