UFCU Names Executive Vice President of Operations and Strategy
Austin, TEXAS, January 2, 2020 — UFCU, Austin’s largest locally owned financial institution, has named Mike Clifford executive vice president of operations and strategy. Clifford is replacing Yung Tran, who retired at the end of 2019 after 24 years of service.
Clifford will lead the planning, development, and execution of strategies and tactics to support UFCU’s programs and objectives. In addition to his new role, Clifford will continue to serve as chief information officer.
“Ever since Mike came out of semi-retirement to lead our information technology team, he has made a tremendous impact on the culture and success of UFCU,” said UFCU President Tony Budet. “He is passionate about developing teams and individuals in meaningful endeavors, and he has helped lead many of our community initiatives that demonstrate our commitment to our Members.”
