With over 20 years of experience in financial services, Pete has a wealth of knowledge that has helped clients navigate through just about every type of market or financial situation. He has approached financial planning from various viewpoints: as an advisor, portfolio strategist, and banking officer. He’s helped clients through all stages of planning: saving for and growing a portfolio, college planning, increasing retirement income, estate planning, and wealth transfer. His years of experience in investment strategy analysis, market research, and financial planning have made him a valuable resource for UFCU Members.
Pete first moved to Texas to play football for SMU where he graduated with a business degree in finance. After several years in Dallas as an advisor, he moved to San Diego where he eventually realized he couldn’t surf and headed back to Texas. This time, he was drawn to Austin for its live music scene. As an avid concert goer and band follower, he’s been to almost every single SXSW and ACL Festival since he’s lived in Austin. He still drops in on Red River occasionally for barbecue. He and his daughter enjoy camping and mountain biking through the great Texas State Parks and road tripping around the South.

Hard to say, but definitely something on one of the PBS channels, likely made by Ken Burns.
If you could meet anyone, who would it be?
Warren Buffett, but I’d settle for lunch with Elon Musk.
What is your super power?
Having the ability to enjoy eating any single item on almost every menu in every Austin restaurant. But not all at once, of course.
